Notes

Benefit: Archotech marrow core that produces engineered blood cells with embedded rad-shielding and an emergency clot cascade. Below 0 hit points you auto-stabilize without a death save unless a single blow takes you past negative Constitution, you heal 3 additional hit points per rest, you are immune to radiation sickness, and once per encounter you can clot a mortal wound as a reaction, negating one hit that would otherwise reduce you to 0 or below (Fortitude DC 18 for the clot to hold; on a fail you instead stabilize at 0). Major benefit level.

Install Risk: Medicine DC 22 to integrate the archotech core across all marrow sites. Recipient makes a Fortitude save DC 17 or gains Botched Implant: marrow rebellion, the core overproduces, causing polycythemia (thick blood, -3 Fortitude, stroke risk on exertion) until a Medicine DC 19 recalibration.

Origin: Pre-Fall archotech stock or peer-state commando programmes; built for operators expected to survive wounds that should kill them.

Signature: Ghost. Off the Kadiss registry; the carrier's blood reads as an engineered compound no natural body produces, an instant flag to any medic who draws a sample.

Strain: Iron load. The engineered cells carry heavy rad-shielding metals, so the carrier's blood is denser and the heart works harder; they tire faster in sustained cardio without a matching heart aug (Fortitude DC 13 after 10 minutes of hard running or gain Fatigue). The emergency clot cascade, if triggered, leaves scar tissue that imposes -1 to the clotted location's mobility for a week.
