Notes
Benefit: Skeleton infused with a metal-ceramic lattice. +5 maximum HP, +1 to Fortitude saves vs system shock and against falling or crush damage, and unarmed strikes deal 1d4 instead of 1d2. Moderate benefit level.
Install Risk: Medicine DC 18 for the skeletal infusion, with two weeks of recovery. Recipient makes a Fortitude save DC 16 or gains Botched Implant: a brittle set, -3 HP and -1 Fortitude until a Medicine DC 17 re-lacing.
Signature: Tracked. Standard heavy-labour and arena medical hardware, common on Dynar foundry crews and Thrax labour gangs. Logged, unremarkable.
Strain: Added mass. -2 to swimming and to Zero-G Ops because the denser frame sinks and drifts harder to control. Metal detectors and weapon scanners flag the laced skeleton.
