Notes
Benefit: House-grade hand of nano-filament with concealed micro-tools. +3 to Theft checks, +1 to all Dexterity-based fine tasks, integral lockpicks and a micro-scalpel that cannot be patted down, and the hand never provokes a fumble on a natural 1 for fine tasks. Major benefit level.
Install Risk: Mechanics DC 18 to map the filament bed to the wearer. Recipient makes a Fortitude save DC 15 or gains Botched Implant: phantom twitch, -2 to fine tasks until a Mechanics DC 16 correction at a Core facility. Failure by 5+ inflames the bed for 1d4 days at -3.
Signature: Tracked and restricted. Registered as House-issue on the Kadiss grid. The concealed tools are legal only to licensed agents; off-license possession draws scrutiny.
Strain: Quarterly service (Mechanics DC 13 at a licensed bay). The concealed tools read clean on standard scans, but a Core-grade scanner cross-checking the Kadiss registry flags the unregistered micro-tool head as a smuggling aid.
