Notes

Benefit: Cultured cardiac-muscle heart with a neural pace layer. +4 to Fortitude saves against fatigue, exhaustion, blood loss, and shock or stun effects, and you ignore the first two Fatigue conditions from exertion each day. Once per encounter, open the sprint reserve for +15 ft movement and +2 to STR-based checks for 4 rounds. Moderate benefit level. Does not stack with the prosthetic pump.

Install Risk: Medicine DC 18 to graft the cultured organ and splice the neural pacer. Recipient makes a Fortitude save DC 15 or gains Botched Implant: erratic surge rhythm, random adrenaline spikes under stress and -2 Will until a Medicine DC 16 stabilization.

Origin: Core medical firms and Marine aviation-medical programmes; copied widely by outer-reach black clinics for mercenaries and Ironball pros who can afford the edge.

Signature: Restricted. Kadiss-flagged as clinic-grade augmentation; legal only with a surgeon's licence and a registered indication, otherwise it reads as a black-clinic job at Core checkpoints.

Strain: Push-crash. When the sprint reserve ends, Fortitude DC 14 or gain Fatigue for 1d4 rounds. If the sprint reserve is triggered twice in a day, the second crash imposes an additional -1 Fortitude from cardiac strain until a full rest.
