Notes
Benefit: Cultured immune gland that produces tailored immunophages on demand. +4 to Fortitude saves against disease, infection, toxins, and parasites, once per encounter you can purge one active disease or toxin from your system as a free action, and the duration of any infection you suffer is halved. Moderate benefit level.
Install Risk: Medicine DC 17 to graft the cultured gland and wire it to the lymph chain. Recipient makes a Fortitude save DC 14 or gains Botched Implant: mis-targeting, the gland attacks the host, causing low-grade autoimmune flare-ups and -2 to Fortitude until a Medicine DC 15 regulation.
Origin: Core biomed firms; issued to deep-cover agents, plague-world medics, and bioweapon handlers who cannot afford to be laid out by the local biology.
Signature: Restricted. Kadiss-flagged clinic-grade; legal only with a registered indication, otherwise it reads as black-market at a scan.
Strain: Autoimmune edge. The tailored immunophages are aggressive and occasionally misread the carrier's own tissue; each purge in a day raises the risk, and after the second purge the carrier takes 1d6 damage from a self-targeting flare unless they make Fortitude DC 14. The carrier rarely gets sick but runs a low fever constantly.
