Notes
Benefit: Cultured renal lattice that filters at roughly three times the natural rate. +4 to Fortitude saves against poisons, toxins, heavy metals, and blood-borne disease, and you can go three days without water before the first dehydration save. Once per day you can purge one active poison from your blood as a free action, ending its effect. Moderate benefit level.
Install Risk: Medicine DC 17 to graft the cultured kidney. Recipient makes a Fortitude save DC 14 or gains Botched Implant: mineral wasting, chronic thirst and -2 Fortitude vs toxins until a Medicine DC 15 regulation.
Origin: Core biomed firms; prized by prospectors, desert scouts, and operators who expect to be dosed with a heavy-metal dart sooner or later.
Signature: Restricted. Kadiss-flagged clinic-grade; legal only with a registered indication, otherwise it reads as black-market at a scan.
Strain: Over-filtration. When the lattice purges a poison it also dumps salts and water, so the carrier must drink heavily or take Fortitude DC 13 or gain Fatigue from the flush itself. Repeated purges in a day impose a cumulative -1 to Fortitude from electrolyte debt.
