Benefit: Archotech-grade threat prediction lattice built to supersede and include the Tactical Precognition Suite plus a one-shot fold-adjacent foresight window. You cannot be caught flat-footed or surprised, you may force one attack roll or Reflex-save trigger against you to be re-rolled per encounter (the attacker takes the worse result), and once per long rest you may ask the GM a single yes/no question about an event in the next 10 minutes and receive a true answer (the lattice draws on fold-adjacent bleed to resolve the question). Major benefit level.
Install Risk: Medicine DC 25 for the deep-archotech lattice, with one month of recovery and a mandatory Kadiss-grid integration session. Recipient makes a Fortitude save DC 21 or gains Botched Implant: fold feedback, -4 Will, recurring migraines for 1d4 weeks, and the prediction lattice is offline until a specialist Medicine DC 23 reset. Failure by 5+ leaves a permanent -2 WIS and a +1 Fold Point per long rest from fold bleed.
Origin: Archotech vault-sealed chassis, issued to House war-architects, Confederation Navy Commander-tier officers, and core-world intelligence elite with archotech access.
Signature: Restricted to House war-architects and Confederation Navy Commander-tier. Project Halcyon possession is logged with Argus at the highest tier; civil possession is a capital offence in the Core. Only a House war-architect with archotech access can field one legally, and even then only with a war-time commission.
Strain: Constant high-grade prediction noise. Each combat, Will DC 15 (not DC 12) or take -2 to actions from sensory overload in crowds. Every yes/no question asked of the lattice grants the carrier +1 Fold Point per long rest from fold-adjacent bleed (the chassis is fold-adjacent by design). If the carrier is also a psion, the Fold Point gain stacks with the standard precog-wetware bleed for +2 Fold Points per long rest. The lattice requires a daily 1-hour prediction-calm period (the carrier must avoid high-information-density environments, taking -2 to initiative and Perception during the window).
