Notes
Benefit: Neural co-processor seated above the Kadiss baseline that pre-empts motor commands. +2 to Initiative and +1 to Reflex saves, and once per encounter you may take a free 5-foot step as a reaction. Moderate benefit level.
Install Risk: Medicine DC 18 for the neural seat. Recipient makes a Fortitude save DC 15 or gains Botched Implant: twitch tremors, -1 Reflex and -1 to fine-motor skills until a Medicine DC 16 tuning. Failure by 5+ holds at -2 for 1d4 days.
Signature: Tracked. Civilian-grade units are Core-registered medical wetware. Combat-tuned variants are ghost and illegal in most Core jurisdictions.
Strain: Overclocking burns out. If triggered in the same round as an adrenal surge or chemical stim, Fortitude DC 13 or become Fatigued. The Initiative bonus does not stack with the Improved Initiative feat, use the higher.
