Notes
Benefit: A riveted plate of salvage steel bolted over the cranium under the scalp. +2 to Fortitude saves against stun, knockout and head trauma, and +3 maximum HP. -1 to Initiative from the added weight on the neck. Minor benefit level.
Install Risk: Medicine DC 16 for the cranial fit, with three weeks of recovery. Recipient makes a Fortitude save DC 15 or gains Loose Plate: -1 to Will saves and headaches until a Medicine DC 16 refit.
Strain: Added weight and cold metal against bone. Metal detectors flag the plate, and a hard enough blow rings the skull like a bell (deafened for 1 round on a critical hit to the head).
