Notes

Benefit: Reinforced stomach lining with adaptive enzyme production. +3 to Fortitude saves vs ingested poisons and contaminants. Can digest normally inedible organic matter (grants +2 to Survival checks for foraging). Reduces food-borne illness chance by 75% and allows consumption of spoiled food without penalty. Once per day, can trigger 'Acid Flush' to neutralize one ingested poison.

Install Risk: Medicine DC 15 for gastric augmentation. Recipient makes a Fortitude save DC 13 or suffers digestive shutdown (-1 CON, -1 STR for 24 hours).

Origin: Developed by an unnamed Inner Familyis for deep-space salvage teams who need to consume questionable organic matter. Adopted by Legion scouts and Rim survivalists.

Strain: Moderate. Requires monthly enzyme recharge. Consuming highly corrosive substances causes system stress (-1 CON until next maintenance).
