Irradiated

Accumulated rads: repeat Fort saves vs dose tier (DC 12 low to 22 lethal) or take CON damage and Sickened/Exhausted.

An irradiated character has taken on a dose of ionizing radiation -- a reactor leak, a rad-storm, an unshielded drive core, a rad-weapon. The dose is tracked as accumulated rads, and at each interval (default 1 hour; acute sources 1 minute) the character makes a Fortitude save against the dose tier: low DC 12, moderate DC 15, severe DC 18, lethal DC 22. A failed save deals 1d4 Constitution damage, with low-to-moderate doses instead imposing Sickened or Exhausted; dropping Constitution below the system-shock threshold triggers a System Shock roll. The dose clears with a rad-scrub chem or a Medbay stay (Medicine DC 18). Lead-lined armour and rad-shielding grant resistance, and constructs are unaffected by radiation sickness.
