The character is a veteran of the Kadiss grid, able to move
through the digital substrate like a physical shadow. The
character gains +2 to all Hacking checks performed on the
Kadiss grid (the standard information network) and +4 to
checks to resist grid-resident ICE (intrusion countermeasure
electronics). While in a slice, the character has full
concealment: detection requires a Hacking check (DC 25) per
round, and the character's actual position is hidden from
trace attempts unless they specifically target a system.
Once per day, the character may auto-evade a trace attempt
without rolling.

Notes
Special: Requires a deck or hardline access to the Kadiss grid. The full concealment is passive; the character must not actively scan or attack to maintain it. The auto-evade is a guaranteed success that consumes the character's daily trace limit. Stacks with Master Slicer's +2 Hacking bonus and half black-ICE damage. Does not protect against physical trace (Argus agents, corpsec trackers) -- only digital countermeasures. The character can take 20 on Hacking checks in the grid if time permits and there is no pressure.
