by +4. Whenever the character would be forced to make a
Catastrophe Save (Fold Points exceed threshold or
Overchannel Surge trigger), the DC of the save is reduced
by 2. The character sheds 1 Fold Point per hour of rest
(in addition to the standard recovery rate), representing
their innate ability to shed Fold pressure.

The reduced Catastrophe Save DC stacks with Corruption Resistance's halved Fold Point gain to make Catastrophe events rare. Shedding rate applies during any rest, including short rests; meditating in a psi-shielded chamber doubles the shedding rate (so +3/hour instead of +2).
