Wired Reflexes II

+4 initiative (stacks with Reflex Co-Processor); -1 reaction time to detect traps.

The character has upgraded their reflex co-processor with advanced second-generation hardware. The character's initiative bonus from reflex augmentations increases by +4 (stacking with Reflex Co-Processor's +2 for a total of +6 with both augments). The character's reaction time improves: they gain +4 to Perception checks made to detect triggers, traps, and immediate threats. Once per round, the character may take a 5-foot step as a free action even if they have already moved their speed.

Notes

Special: Requires reflex co-processor AND a second-generation reflex augmentation (wired reflexes II or equivalent; must be installed). The +4 initiative stacks additively with Reflex Co-Processor's +2 (+6 total). The free 5-ft step is a quality-of-life feature: the character can take it once per round even after using their full movement (representing fine-motor neural overdrive). The Perception bonus applies to trap detection, not general Perception checks.
