Four-armed insectoid canyon climbers with natural chitin armour and vertical-thinking affinity.
Xenthari are chitinous insectoids native to Xenth, a high-gravity world of deep canyons and vertical cliff-cities in the Confederation mid-rim. Their four-armed body plan evolved for scaling sheer rock faces while carrying larvae and food. Xenthari society is organised around the cliff-tower: every family holds a vertical kilometre of canyon wall. They are the Confederation's climbing and rigging caste, working Asteroid belts, cliff-mines, and hull-repair yards. Xenthari think in vertical metaphors and signal trust by sitting on the ground.
