Redundant Core

Survive at -10 HP without unconscious; once/day auto-stabilize at 0 HP; +2 death save.

The character's synthetic body has redundant power cores and backup systems. The character does not fall unconscious at 0 HP; they continue functioning until -10 HP. Once per day, when the character would die (drop below -10 HP), they instead stabilize at 0 HP (no further action required; their backup core kicks in for 1 minute, after which they need real medical attention). The character gains +2 to death saving throws and Fortitude saves vs. system shock effects.

Notes

Special: Synthetic origin required. The -10 threshold applies only to physical HP; energy attacks still inflict normal damage but the character does not lose consciousness until -10. The once-per-day auto-stabilize is an emergency measure: the character stabilizes for 1 minute, during which they cannot act, then must be repaired or they resume dying. Stacks with Machine Resilience's DR 2/- and critical hit immunity. Does not protect against disintegration, soul burn, or effects that target the character regardless of HP.
