Visible Splice
A visible chimeric splice: features that unsettle baseline stock and mark the bearer as a disallowed line.
A splice written on the body where it cannot be hidden -- an inhuman cast to the face, an odd proportion, pelt or scale or eye that baseline humans read as wrong before they read it as person. The bearer can be clever, capable, and kind, and still be met with the flinch first. It cuts both ways: the same features that turn a Core market cold can put real fear into a threat.

Notes
Effect Text: -2 to Persuasion and first-impression Charisma checks with baseline populations; +1 to Intimidation (same features). Some Core jurisdictions restrict service and housing. Grants build points.
Lore Note: The disallowed lines leave marks, and the marks leave a social cost. The Spliced communities on the Rim and in the hidden corners of the Core carry this drawback openly -- valued for their clever hands and stranger perceptions, shunned for what their existence represents. Some Core jurisdictions restrict their service and housing by statute, others by custom. A visible-splice bearer learns early that the flinch is constant and that it can, occasionally, be made useful.
