The Drift Hostile-Environment Hardsuit is the suit Drift Logistics builds for planetary survey crews, refinery workers, and any operator who has to set foot on a world whose atmosphere is actively trying to kill them: a sealed full-body rigid chassis rated for ambient temperatures from minus-one-hundred to plus-five-hundred Celsius, pressures from hard Vacuum to fifteen atmospheres, and corrosive atmospheres ranging from chlorine to hydrofluoric. Heavy, slow, and exhausting to wear for more than six hours at a stretch, but the only alternative is a sealed vehicle. Drift sells these to licensed survey teams, mining operators, and government agencies; the suit carries a mandatory service log and must be recertified annually by an authorised Drift technician.
