Legion-Issue Combatives Rig
Legion standard infantry rig; fatigue jacket over combat plate, sealed for void-deck work.
The Legion-Issue Combatives Rig is what every fresh Legionnaire receives on induction day: a set of dark grey fatigues with an integral ceramic-plate carrier, sealed at the seams for short-duration Vacuum exposure, and tagged with the recruit's Legion ID at every load-bearing seam. The rig is unromantic and effective; the plate stops rifle-calibre at moderate range, the fatigue fabric is treated against flash-fires and chemical splash, and the integrated harness accepts the Legion's standard rifle, sidearm, and field-kit layout. Legionnaires hate it for its weight in summer theatres and love it for saving their lives the first time they need it. Cadets may not modify it; veterans modify it constantly. Replacement components are issued at any Legion depot; the rig itself is issued only to serving members and cannot be legally sold.
