Surikov Combat Armour
Surikov's standard combat rig; the loadout that built a hundred PMC contracts.
The Surikov Combat Armour is the rig that put Surikov Dynamics on every Kadiss-procurement shortlist in the Core. A balanced torso-and-limb carrier built around a stack of ceramic-composite plates seated in a ballistic-nylon harness, with modular pouches and hardpoints along the cummerbund and chest rig for magazines, sidearms, water, and a radio. Sold under various house marks (the Surikov CAC-9, the Argus Mark IV patrol carrier, even some Legion-spec variants are built on this chassis), it offers solid protection against shrapnel and stub-rounds without slowing the wearer into irrelevance. The CAC-9 is restricted under Confederation arms law in its plate-loaded form, but the empty harness is sold openly as industrial load gear. The combat rig sees more field hours than any other medium armour in known space.
