Argus LB-3 Earwig Listening Bugs
Ten-pack pinhead listening devices with Argus-relay uplink
The LB-3 is Argus's audio-only covert bug: ten sub-grain listening devices about pinhead-sized, adhesive or magnetic mount, 30 m pickup with -10dB noise floor, 48-hour battery each. They relay through any Argus signal booster or grid node, the same trade-off as the camera set. Sold to the same market as the MC-2: security installers, household monitoring, and journalists. Counter-surveillance crews test rooms for the LB-3 using the BS-1 sweep detector (see surveillance gear). Off-grid variants exist on the black-market and store audio locally for later retrieval.
