Argus MS-5 Prism Multispectral Scanner
Multispectral handheld imager for scout and security work
The Argus MS-5 is the workhorse prism-scan: a hand-held imager that overlays visible, infrared, ultraviolet, and low-band EM onto a single eyepiece. Range is 200 m line-of-sight; thermal sensitivity picks up a human body at 150 m, a vehicle engine at the full 200. Sold to scouts, prospectors, boarders, and House security details. The MS-5 is the most common non-military sensor on the Rim after the LM-3. Registered on the Kadiss when powered; the company has not announced an off-grid firmware.
