Rim Clans Veil-Glass Hand Mirror
A clan-ground steel mirror carried for exactly one job: showing the Black Veil its own face
The clans do not carry mirrors for vanity. A veil-glass is ground from salvaged hull plate, polished on a leather wheel for a season, and blessed by nobody, because the clans learned a long time ago that what stops the Veil is not faith - it is the reflection. Show the thing its own shape and it snaps solid, and solid things can be shot. The drill is taught to children: two hands, elbows locked, keep the face in the glass no matter what the face is doing. Veterans will tell you the hard part is not the aim.
