The SQ-3 is Surikov's answer to squad-level comm for PMCs, Legion detachments, and corporate security teams. Eight radios self-heal into a mesh on power-up, relaying voice and short text between nodes without a Kadiss uplink. Range per hop is 3 km in open terrain; mesh extends effective range to about 20 km across a deployed squad. Push-to-talk is the default; voice-activated mode kicks in for hands-free. The case is shock-sealed for breaching use. Surikov refuses to encrypt past military baseline; blacker ciphers come from the Argus line.
