Helix Field Medkit
Standard field medkit; stabilises the dying and patches minor wounds.
The Helix Field Medkit is to LaGrange what a first-aid kit is to old Earth: ubiquitous, unglamorous, and the difference between life and death in a thousand small emergencies. Five sterile supply packs fit inside a hardcase the size of a lunch box. Each pack contains auto-injectors for painkillers and coagulants, a diagnostic scanner patch that reads vital signs and flags obvious conditions, and enough wound dressings to close a moderate laceration or pack a bullet hole. The medkit cannot perform surgery, cannot set bones, and cannot install augmentations -- but it can keep someone breathing long enough to reach someone who can. Helix sells the Field Medkit to everyone: Legion quartermasters, Rim traders, Family households, even Day One cells (Helix does not ask questions about end-use). The supply packs are cheap to refill; the scanner needs recalibration every six months or it starts reading everyone as dead.

Notes
Effect: Grants +2 bonus to Medicine checks for stabilising dying patients and treating minor wounds (1d8 HP healed per use). Can diagnose: bleeding, fractures, burns, toxin exposure (DC 12 Medicine check with bonus). Removes the 'bleeding' condition on a successful stabilisation check. Each use consumes one sterile supply pack.
