The Bulwark Mk.IV is Surikov Dynamics' flagship personal barrier for front-line assault operations. A back-mounted capacitor pack feeds a distributed emitter array that wraps the operator in a thick, omnidirectional energy shell capable of absorbing heavy weapon fire. The Bulwark is the reason Legion breachers survive the first three seconds of a boarding action. The field eats incoming fire at a rate that keeps the operator moving through kill-zones, but the power draw is punishing: under sustained combat, the capacitor pack runs hot and the field thins. Operators learn to push fast, breach, and let the pack cycle. Surikov sells the Bulwark exclusively to military and licensed PMC channels; finding one on the Rim means someone raided a Legion supply depot or a warlord paid a very connected fixer.
