Argus EC-3 EMP Cannon
Electromagnetic pulse cannon; disables electronics and augments in a wide area.
The EC-3 is Argus Security's EMP cannon, a weapon that generates a focused electromagnetic pulse capable of disabling electronics, frying augments, and shutting down powered armour and shields in a wide area of effect. The EC-3 does minimal physical damage to unarmoured organic targets, but against cybered-up soldiers, automated defences, and electronic systems it is devastating: a single burst can render a fire team combat-ineffective by killing their optics, comms, and weapon systems. The weapon's power demands are significant, requiring a backpack capacitor, and its indiscriminate pulse means the operator's own electronics are at risk without hardened equipment. The EC-3 is a specialist weapon for anti-cyber operations, boarding actions against automated defences, and security operations where lethal force is not the objective. Argus sells the EC-3 to military, security, and corporate clients.
