Day One DIY Multi-Launcher
Improvised multi-barrel launcher; fires rockets, grenades, or whatever fits the tubes.
The DIY Multi-Launcher is Day One's answer to the question 'what if we welded a bunch of tubes to a frame and pointed them at the enemy?' The weapon is exactly what it sounds like: a cluster of steel or composite tubes mounted on a crude frame, capable of firing a mix of rockets, grenades, and improvised projectiles in a ripple volley. The Multi-Launcher is inaccurate, unreliable, and prone to misfires, but it is also cheap to build from salvage, easy to operate, and devastating in volume. Day One cells and Rim warlords manufacture the weapon in workshops from whatever materials are available; no two are identical, and ammunition compatibility is a matter of luck and filed-down fittings. The Multi-Launcher's greatest strength is its cost: for the price of a single guided missile, an operator can field a battery of Multi-Launchers that saturate a target area with indiscriminate destruction.
