A polite Core-world civilian pocket pistol; the gun a Hive clerk keeps in the sock drawer.
The Helios Sidekick is built for the licensed civilian market: clean lines, brushed-alloy finish, a Kadiss-locked firing-pin that refuses to discharge if the wielder is not the registered owner. Power is anemic (a .22 short at best), but for a Hive clerk facing a break-in, or a Family retainer packing for the Station corridor, it is more than enough. Helios sells it the way other brands sell perfume: a thousand small rek every quarter, and a pleasant recurring licence fee.
