Legion AC-2 Portable Autocannon
Man-portable autocannon; fires high-explosive or armour-piercing shells.
The AC-2 is the Legion's man-portable autocannon, a weapon that bridges the gap between heavy machine guns and crew-served vehicle mounts. The AC-2 fires 20mm shells -- either high-explosive for area effect or armour-piercing for hard targets -- at a rate that makes it a terror against infantry in cover and a credible threat to light armoured vehicles. The weapon is heavy enough that it requires bracing (bipod or tripod) for accurate fire, and its recoil is punishing even for augmented operators. A two-person team is standard: gunner and ammunition bearer. The AC-2 is Legion standard issue for fire support squads and is rarely seen outside military hands; its ammunition is proprietary and expensive, making it a weapon that nations field but warlords struggle to supply.
