Legion AGL-3 Auto Grenade Launcher
Crew-served automatic grenade launcher; belt-fed, tripod-mounted.
The AGL-3 is the Legion's automatic grenade launcher, a belt-fed, crew-served weapon that fires 40mm grenades at a cyclic rate that saturates entire grid squares with fragmentation and blast effects. Where the GL-6 is a precision tool for individual targets, the AGL-3 is an area-denial weapon: it fills defilade positions, suppresses fortified emplacements, and breaks up infantry assaults before they reach friendly lines. The weapon requires a two-person crew (gunner and loader) and is deployed on a heavy tripod that allows traverse and elevation for indirect fire. The AGL-3's ammunition appetite is prodigious; a sustained engagement can burn through hundreds of rounds in minutes. Legion doctrine uses the AGL-3 as the anchor of defensive positions and the spearhead of offensive fire support. The weapon is not available for commercial sale.
