Legion-issue BS-4 Breaching Scattergun
A short-barrelled Legion breaching shotgun for opening doors at close range.
The BS-4 is the Legion's entry tool, not its combat weapon. A short break-action shotgun, often with the barrel cut to fourteen inches and the stock removed in favour of a pistol grip, designed to fire a special breaching round that punches through a standard door lock without penetrating the wall behind. Legion doctrine trains the operator to fire from the hinge side and stack immediately behind the breach. Against an actual person at room distance, the BS-4 is murderous; against a door it is a polite key.
