Legion 'Panther' Anti-Armour Rocket Launcher
Shoulder-fired anti-armour rocket launcher; single-use tube with HEAT warhead.
The 'Panther' is the Legion's standard-issue anti-armour rocket launcher, a shoulder-fired weapon that fires a single high-explosive anti-tank rocket before the tube is discarded. The Panther's HEAT warhead is designed to defeat vehicle armour through shaped-charge penetration: the explosive lining forms a focused jet of superheated metal that punches through plating and destroys whatever is behind it. The weapon is simple to operate -- point, fire, discard -- making it suitable for troops who need anti-armour capability without extensive heavy weapons training. The Panther is sold through Legion surplus channels and is common in mercenary companies and Rim militias. Its single-shot nature means every shot must count; experienced operators carry multiple tubes for sustained engagements.
