Meridian T-5 'Tempest' Pulse Rifle
Long-range burst-fire energy rifle; the pinnacle of Meridian's pulse weapon line.
The T-5 'Tempest' is Meridian Exchange's flagship pulse rifle, extending the burst-fire concept to full rifle range with enhanced power per pulse. Its extended barrel and refined focusing array deliver pulse sequences that maintain coherence at distances where lesser pulse weapons scatter. The Tempest occupies a niche between the precision of a marksman las and the volume of a standard las rifle, offering rapid pulse fire that suppresses and wounds rather than relying on single clean hits. Legion and PMC units that favour aggressive tactics appreciate the Tempest's ability to put multiple energy impacts on a target in the time it takes a las rifle to cycle once.
