Rim-pattern Ironback Anti-Materiel Rifle
A Rim-welded anti-materiel rifle built from a captured KS-8 action and a salvaged barrel.
The Ironback is what happens when a Rim sharpshooter gets hold of a Surikov KS-8 bolt and builds his own rifle around it. A heavy barrel is bored out to take a 14.5mm class sabot round; the receiver is welded into a wooden stock; the magazine is a salvaged Surikov five-rounder. The result is a rifle that will reach out past a kilometre if the operator has patience, a sandbag, and a mind untroubled by the Fold. Less accurate than a KS-8 and twice as dangerous to fire, but produced outside the Surikov supply chain and therefore available to anyone willing to feed it. Rim warlord sharpshooters, clan snipers, and a worrying number of Day One long-range assassins.
