Rim Pipe-gun Improvised Shotgun
A single-shot improvised shotgun built from a pipe and a fistful of prayer.
The Pipe-gun is what the Rim builds when a real shotgun is too expensive and a slug pistol is too small. A length of water-pipe closed at one end, a crude firing pin cobbled from a nail, a wooden stock cut from a fence rail, and a single shotgun shell loaded through the breech. It fires once, brutally, and either blows up in the shooter's hands or clears the room. Used by clan rabble, sand-skiff raiders, and the desperate poor of the Rim underbelly. Cheap enough to be disposable, lethal enough to be remembered.
