Rim-pattern Sagebrush Lever-Action Rifle
A Rim clan lever-action rifle; old-Earth pattern, hand-built, the varmint-hunter's long arm.
The Sagebrush is a Rim holdover: a manual lever-action rifle descended from the Earth pattern the Light Huggers brought, copied and re-copied on Rim workshops until each clan carries its own subtle variation. Hard hammer-forged barrel, walnut stock, simple iron sights, and an action that a 12-year-old can clear in thirty seconds. Power is decent out to two hundred metres; past that the shooter is gambling on luck. Carried by Rim ranchers, clan scouts, and the kind of old pistolero who still remembers when rek was paper and the Fold was a fairy story.
