Rim-pattern Snakebite Holdout
Cheap, tiny, dirty: a Rim-syndicate pocket pistol that lives in a coat lining or boot heel.
The Snakebite is what passes for a sidearm on the Rim when the operator cannot afford a real one. It is a five-shot, single-stack .22 of unknown pedigree, often built in a clan workshop from a cut-down rifle action, re-barreled over a mail-order slide, and finished in cosmoline. Half the time it fires, a third of the time it jams, and the rest of the time it fails to feed. It is, however, smaller than a playing card, lighter than a Kadiss coin, and absolutely invisible to a pat-down. The kind of pistol that earns its name by being the last thing your mark sees.
