The GL-6 is a standalone break-action grenade launcher that fires 40mm grenades in a high-arcing trajectory, allowing the operator to engage targets behind cover, in defilade, or inside structures. The GL-6 accepts a range of grenade types -- fragmentation, smoke, incendiary, concussion -- making it one of the most versatile heavy weapons in known space. The break-action design is simple and reliable: the barrel hinges open, a single round is loaded, and the weapon is fired from the shoulder or a rest.
