Surikov GM-1 Gauss Minigun
Rotary gauss minigun; electromagnetic multi-barrel weapon.
The GM-1 is Surikov Dynamics' gauss minigun, a rotary electromagnetic weapon that uses sequential coil arrays to accelerate slugs to hypersonic velocities across multiple barrels. The GM-1's rate of fire is staggering -- hundreds of rounds per minute of armour-piercing projectiles that can shred light vehicles, breach fortifications, and turn infantry formations into abattoirs. The weapon's mass, power demands, and recoil are equally extreme: the GM-1 requires a vehicle mount, powered exoskeleton, or reinforced tripod with a two-person crew, and draws from a dedicated power supply that limits sustained fire. The GM-1 is a ghost-tier weapon sold only through Surikov's most restricted channels; its combination of rate-of-fire and armour penetration makes it one of the most lethal man-portable (barely) weapons in known space. Ammunition cost is significant, but the GM-1's kill-per-second ratio justifies the expense for clients who can afford it.
