Project the mind from the body to scout unseen and intangible.
The psion projects their mind from their body as pure awareness --
invisible, silent, untouchable by steel or Vacuum. The body left
behind slumps where it stood, breathing shallow, eyes open and seeing
nothing. The projection passes through walls, crosses hard Vacuum
without a suit, walks the length of an enemy ship while its crew
feels only a cold draft. The projection cannot touch, cannot speak,
cannot carry anything back. What hurts it -- a Fold-warded threshold,
a hostile psychic presence, the backlash of a detected intrusion --
travels back along the silver cord and slams into the psion's
abandoned flesh.

Notes
Effect: The psion projects their mind from their physical body, creating an
invisible, intangible psychic projection. The projection moves at the
psion's normal speed, passes through solid objects, and is immune to
physical damage and environmental hazards including vacuum. The psion
perceives through the projection normally. The projection cannot
physically interact with objects, creatures, or devices. The psion's
physical body lies helpless and unconscious for the duration; damage to
the body is not felt until the psion returns. If the projection takes
psychic damage (from hostile psionic effects, Fold-warded barriers, or
Fold Cascade), the psion's body takes the same damage. If the
projection is reduced to 0 psychic HP, the cord snaps and the psion
dies instantly regardless of the body's condition. The psion may end
the projection early as a move action, snapping back to the body.
