The psion speaks a single soft syllable, and a 10-ft radius sphere centred
on a point within range becomes dead-silent. No sound can be produced
inside the sphere, and no sound can pass through its boundary. Spoken commands and sonic
abilities fail inside; the Fold itself, being silent, still answers. Creatures inside cannot speak,
shout, or call for help. Fold-typed and conventional sonic effects are suppressed
for the duration (caster's choice at casting).
