Lore: The Waypoint is the Rim's workhorse freighter: a modular cargo hauler with a rotating crew that lives in the hold alongside the goods. Every freeport has a dozen Waypoints in various states of repair. They run scheduled routes between Rim worlds and occasionally stray into Core space carrying goods that Core customs would rather not inspect.
