Tracking is the art of reading what has passed. It covers physical trails
(footprints, scat, broken vegetation, blood), data trails (network logs,
transaction records, ship movement histories), and technological signatures
(energy residue, drive emissions, sensor pings). The sci-fi adaptation
extends the classic ranger skill into data forensics -- a Tracker can
follow a fugitive through a Hive city by reading CCTV metadata as easily
as through a Jungle by reading broken branches. In the verse, Trackers
are the Legion's pursuit specialists, the Chaplain's search-and-rescue
teams, and the Scout's bread and butter.

Untrained: May follow obvious physical trails (fresh footprints in mud). Cannot
interpret ambiguous evidence, track across hard terrain, or follow data
trails. -2 penalty on any Tracking check.
