Notes

Adventure Hooks: A Rim trader's Kadiss unit shows a forged identity flagged by CBIS. The party must decide: turn him in, help him flee, or dig into what he is running from., A CBIS analyst offers under-the-table pay to surveil a Family diplomat staying in the commercial tier. The diplomat is doing the same thing in reverse., A section of Habitat Ring B goes dark for six hours. When comms restore, forty people are missing and the Kadiss logs show nothing. CBIS seals the section., An ark ship from old Earth has entered the system. Aegis Prime is the receiving station. The passengers carry tech and ideology from a forgotten era; Confederation brass wants the party to board first and assess the threat.

Crawl Notes: Not a crawl environment, but the sealed Habitat Ring B incident could generate a limited crawl scenario: darkened corridors, missing civilians, and something that avoids Kadiss sensors.

Faction Id: Confederation

Lore: Aegis Prime hangs in low orbit over Harlan IV, a Core world whose hive arcologies spill light onto the station's docking rings day and night. Built three centuries ago by the Confederation as an administrative and customs hub, it has grown into a city in its own right: two million souls live and work in its stacked habitat cylinders, commercial tiers, and government annexes. Every resident carries a Kadiss unit; every corridor has sensors. The Confederation Bureau of Internal Security (CBIS) maintains a permanent garrison and a detention wing that, on paper, does not exist. Traders from the Rim who dock here find themselves tracked, catalogued, and pressured to install Kadiss units or leave. The station is a panopticon made steel and light -- efficient, safe, and suffocating.
