Notes
Adventure Hooks: A star player is throwing matches under duress: a Family patriarch holds their family hostage. The League wants it exposed; the Family wants it buried., The party is hired to security-scout the arena before a championship match. They find evidence of a bomb planted in the pressurised seating ring., A Rim clan champion challenges a Core champion to a death match with a wager that includes territorial rights to a contested moon. Both sides hire the party as backup., A retired Ironball legend runs a fighters' gym in the lower decks. They are also running an underground railroad for escaped indentured workers from a Family mining operation.
Crawl Notes: The lower decks -- maintenance corridors, cargo holds, and the original construction scaffolding left in place -- are rough and occasionally host illegal fighting pits. A brawl or chase through these areas is possible but the station's primary function is arena spectacle, not exploration.

Lore: The Iron Death is the largest purpose-built Ironball arena in the Harlan Reach, a station constructed around a central zero-gravity coliseum where two teams fight to the death in front of forty thousand screaming spectators. The game is simple: a contested ball, two goals, no rules beyond what the referee enforces -- and the referee is on the take. Half a million people live on the station year-round: players, trainers, bookmakers, merchants, and the desperate who came to watch one match and stayed because they had nowhere else to go. The Ironball Leagues govern the arena with an iron hand; match-fixing is a capital offense, which means it happens constantly and cleverly. Gambling debts are enforced by League enforcers who are, in practice, bounty hunters with a licence. The station sits on a major trade route and draws crowds from Core and Rim alike -- one of the few places where a Confederation marine and a Rim warlord's son might share a drink without drawing weapons.
