Augment Recalibration

Swap augment mode/function as move action; 1/encounter gain +2 to one aug check.

The character can rapidly recalibrate their augmentations in the field. As a move action, the character may switch one augmentation's mode or function (e.g., optical camo from passive to active mode, threat tracker from passive to alert mode, targeting eye from manual to auto-acquire). Once per encounter, the character may declare Full Recalibration: gain +2 to all checks using the recalibrated augment for 1 round, but the augment cannot be switched again for 1 minute after the burst.

Notes

Combat Action / Effect Script Id: Augment Recalibration

Special: Requires augmentations with switchable modes (most modern augs qualify; the GM determines if a given aug has a switchable mode). Switching to a mode that requires a complex decision (e.g., programming a new target list) takes longer. The +2 burst cannot be combined with other temporary bonuses to the same aug checks (e.g., Implant Synergy's +2 from paired augs does not stack with Full Recalibration's +2; use the higher). The 1-minute cooldown prevents exploiting the burst by re-recalibrating immediately.
